Why can’t I be Phil Dunphy?
Last night’s Modern Family was like a magical dream world that I aspire to live in. The main plot centered around Phil Dunphy, the Dad of the family, desperately wanting an iPad for his birthday. But unlike my real life, where My Wife Said No, Phil’s wife wakes up at 5 am to wait in line at the Apple Store for her hubby. Granted, she falls asleep on the couch and spends the rest of the episode trying to track one down for him, but it’s TV, so by the end of 30 mins, Phil has an iPad to enjoy complete with a fun birthday cake app
