Wife didn't say no, but dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine all breaking within a month kinda did. But hey, life doesn't leave that kinda money waiting around for too long. Funny story... I said "No" to my husband getting an ipad and he went and bought one anyways. First I was furious and then I realized that I could get the wacom app so the ipad would double as a drawing tablet! Awesome!
